ATTENTION USA CUSTOMERS

You will NOT be able to order off the website until we get some clarity on what will happen to your package when it arrives at the border. Previously, shipments under $800 had an exemption, but they now require assessment for any taxes, duties, tariffs or processing fees due. There is currently no clear system for determining the amount or method for the customer to pay these fees. When a system is put in place and we have clarity, we will be able to list these fees in your cart at checkout, so there will be no surprises. Please email me if you need anything and we can look into the specific situation. Hopefully we get clarity soon.

Topsail Canvas is a small family business located in southwestern New Brunswick. We have been creating top-quality canvas bags since 1991. Each bag is created and sewn with care in our signature simple, functional, durable designs.

Our designs reflect what we and our friends need: a cross-body bag with lots of pockets, a durable diaper bag, totes with pockets for small tools or knitting supplies, zip tops for boating adventures or carry-on luggage, sturdy grocery bags, or simply a large tote for catching everything.

New Inventory

I am working on a restock of various styles. For now, they will be added to the website as I get them done, instead of a big release at one time. If you are waiting for something and want notification of when a style will be restocked, let me know.

Note: I don't take official orders, because it is not an efficient use of my time or materials to do single bags. But I do like to know what you are interested in, because it influences what I choose to sew.

Do you have to buy through the website?
